'Taglio,' which means 'cut,' gathers it's inspiration from simple form images such as chopped wood. Chopping away areas of the table's surface creates a bold visual statement. The designs are composed of recycled concrete and reclaimed wood.

REFRACT chair
Refraction often occurs when a wave is acted upon through light or sound. Light refracts when it interacts with water or glass resulting in a bend in the angle of the light. This is the theme of the "Refract Chair."

Six degrees of refractive correction are said to occur in the eye taking information as sharp light images. The number 6 has been repeated to emphasize this idea.

The chair utilizes recycled aluminum rods with optional anodized metal finishes such as black, copper, gun metal, and silver. Stained wood inlays are made from reclaimed wood and flush fitted.

The "Refract Chair" focuses on the bare essentials by holding the structure together with two horizontal bars where the back and bottom supports meet. The chair back is designed to flex slightly when pressure is applied leaning back in a more relaxed position.
